She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Charles Sammut and Maude Sammut; her brother James Sammut; and her son-in-law Peter Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Marie Gray (Dean Bonifas), Steve, Gail Vella, Joanne and Doug Cooper; her grandchildren, Christine Vella (Brad Hopkins), Stephanie, Paul Costante, James Gray (Michelle Aguilar), Andrew Gray (Andrea Shum), Michael Cooper (Joanna McLaughlin) and Jacqueline Cooper; and her great grandchildren, Adrina, Sienna, Cameron, Johnny, Kassie, Easton and Henley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Marie, memorial donations to Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Center) or Heart Niagara would be appreciated by her family.
