Giovannina Marinucci-Ventresca Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Giovannina Marinucci-Ventresca (Niagara Falls, Ontario), who passed away on February 15, 2022 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmothers, Nina' and Giovannina Marinucci-Ventresca; her husband Giuseppe; her daughters, Maria Pingue (late Sabatino) and Angiolina Artista (Luciano); her grandchildren, Anna Infantino (Richard), Venanzio Pingue (Wendy Seymour), Lucy Borghesi (Sandro), Tino Pingue (Susan), Joe Pingue (Becky), Lea Ferrraro (Jim), Nadia Artista and Antonietta Marsh (Jason); her great grandchildren, Natalie Maiola (Michael), Martino, Carlo, Valerie Borghesi, Amelia, Hannah, Marcus, Matteo, Tessa, Billy Pingue, Alessandra Quaranta (Vincent), Claudia Ferraro (Michael Diaz), Anthony Ferraro, Olivia, Stefano, Paolo Sottile and Gianluca Marsh; her great great grandchildren, Adriano, Chiara Maiola and Santino Quaranta; her siblings, Attilio Marinucci (Santa), Filomena Ventresca and Lina Miceli (Gino); her sister-in-law Filomena Marinucci; her parents, Salvatore Marinucci and Ernesta Marinucci; her siblings, Giovanni, Mario, Guerino (Annamaria), Carmine (Silvana), Vincenzo and Consiglia (Pasquale); her brother-in-law Salvatore; and her grandmother Nina. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Respecting the restrictions of COVID-19 (see thebao. ca), friends and family are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.

In memory of Mrs. Marinucci-Ventresca, memorial contributions may be made to Project Share or Our Lady of the Scapular Church, and would be appreciated by the family.
