He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gertrude; his daughters, Cindy, Patricia (Rick), Donna (Alex), Kathy (Gino) and Joanne; his grandchildren, Krista (Michael), Louis (Guylaine), Amanda (Bradley), Suzy, Brittany (Joe), Richard (Jenny), Joshua, Gino (Liz), Frank (Cassie), Margaret (Simon) and Olivia; his grandparents, Gavin, Violet, Brock, Kathlynn, Xander, Ayla, Holden and Ocktavia; his sisters, Violet Phillip and Helen Domjan (late Joseph); his brother-in-law Tony Phillip; his parents, Frank Simon and Julia Simon; and also Jonathan. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

“In loving memory of Frank Simon, My deepest sympathy Simon Family I will never forget that laugh and his sense of humour or my personal tour of the maid of the midst office where he told me stories of my late grandfather building the boats for maid. He so proudly showed me the pictures in the office and one specifically with my grandfather in the hull of the ship working. That was one of the best afternoons of my life with Uncle Frank second to the boat ride on the Niagara River.”
