He was predeceased by: his daughter Teresa Paonessa; his parents, Tommaso Paonessa and Teresa Paonessa; his siblings, Giuseppino, Cesare and Luigina; and his parents-in-law, Giuseppina, Giovanni, Domenico, Giuseppe, Luigi, Phillipo, Maria and Victoria.
He is survived by: his wife Angela; his children, Stella Hutchinson (Kris Schmidt), Joe Paonessa (Heather Skulj-Free), Elio Paonessa (Annette Campbell), Joanne Harris (David) and Fran Paonessa (Roy Dewbury); his grandchildren, Ashlee Hutchinson, Jessica Hutchinson, Luke Hutchinson, Matthew Harris, Francesco Harris, Brandin Paonessa, Joey Paonessa, Laura Paonessa, Clarisa Paonessa and Joshua Paonessa; and his sisters, Titina and Rosetta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
