He was predeceased by: his wife Ella; and his son Philip Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Judy Notte-Robins (Robert); his grandchildren, Amanda Robins and Brooke Pirson (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Calvin, Gabrielle, Winter, Seth and Levi; his sister Angelina Poulin (Jack); and his sister-in-law Marian Fitzpatrick (Phil). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
