He is survived by: his children, Lorna Longhurst (John), Kelly Meger (Lori Spittal) and Marlene Gibson (Chris); his daughter-in-law Cheryl Meger (late Wayne); his grandchildren, Jennifer Longhurst, Johnny Longhurst (Margaret), Michele Longhurst (Kevin Julie), Matthew Meger (Stephanie), Adam Meger (Rachel), Elizabeth Meger, Kevin Gibson (Brad Bureau), Katy Meade (Mike), Karen Meger (Zac Milne), Christopher Spittal (Alaura), Melissa McKay (Brad), Cole, Lucy, Annie Meger, Harper, Hunter McKay, Lily Meger, Brantly, Scotty Meade, Chuck, Harvey Meger, Ayden, Rhegan Longhurst, Ella, Lincoln Spittal and Leo Bureau; his sisters-in-law, Ann Meger, Alice Meger and Nancy Meger; and his wife Patricia Baker of Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
