He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his parents, Max Pierschalski and Adelheid Pierschalski; and his brother Hans. He is survived by: his children, Angela Black (Richard) and Eric Pierce (Lidija); his grandchildren, Tyler Black, Kristen Yetman (Justin), Katelyn Pierce, Erika Pierce (Andrew Mercnik), Mark DeChellis and Nadia DeChellis; his great grandchildren, Rose Yetman, Caidan Yetman, Felix Mercnik, Faye Letourneau and Summer Letourneau; and his brother Werner.
