He was predeceased by: his wife Terry Monaghan; his parents, Thomas and Margaret; and his siblings, Kathy and Brian.

He is survived by: his children, Roberta, Laura and James (Cindy); and his sisters, Suzanne (Dave) and Maria (Joe). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to The Tender Wishes Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society, and would be appreciate by his family.
