She is survived by: her spouse Addolorato Zappitelli; her children, Luisa Hermes (Bassam), Assunta Zappitelli and Benedetto Zappitelli; her grandchildren, Pietro Hermes, Carmelina Hermes, Lucia Hermes and Giovanni Zappitelli; her siblings, Ida Bentivoglio (Saverio), Anna-Maria Di Biase (Alfredo), Francesca Gallo and Laura Cavaletti (Guido); and her siblings-in-law, Albert Zappitelli (Sophie), Angela Sebastiano (Mario), Franco Zappitelli (Maria), Aldo Zappitelli (Rosa) and Tony Zappitelli (Teresa).
In memory of Carmela, donations to The Walker Family Cancer Centre (NHS) would be appreciated by her family.
