She was predeceased by: her husband Michele'Mike'Pizzi; her parents, Donata Falcetta and Louisa Falcetta; her son Dominic Pizzi; her siblings, Dominica Carlucci (Victorio), Carmela, Antonio Falcetta (Maria) and Angelo Falcetta (Antonietta); her in-laws, Aldorado Pizzi (Elvira) and Antonio Pizzi (Adalina); and her nephew Carmen Pizzi.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Pizzi (Linda), Irma Sebastiano (Tony), Anna Bruno (Gino) and Dennis (Pizzi); her daughter-in-law Terrie Pizzi; her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Brandon, Charlene Pizzi, Mark, Tina Sebastiano Juliana, Paul Bruno, Vincent and Nicholas Pizzi; her great grandchildren, Isla, Savannah and Matteo; her brother John Falcetta (Maria); and her brother-in-law Angelo Pizzi (Anina). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home (6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the St. Thomas More Church (6548 Dorchester Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5T5). An entombment will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at the same location.
In memory of Assunta, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Niagara or Project Share would be appreciated.
