He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Fred Mitchell (Melinda) and Stefanie Scordino; his grandchildren, Sonny, Taya, Augustus and Irena; his brother Joe Mitchell (Phyllis); his brothers-in-law, Ray Cournoyea (Jackie) and Dan Cournoyea (Patti); and his nieces and nephews, Julianne Mitchell, Jessica Mitchell, Kendal Smith (Derrick) and Alex (Beth Cournoyea).
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (5740 Buchanan Ave, Niagara Falls, ON L2G3V3).
