It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ina Purcell (Newton, Ontario), born in Gowanstown, Ontario, who passed away on February 14, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Morris Purcell; her children-in-law, Robert Laidlaw and Debbie Purcell; and her siblings, Blanche McNichol, Joyce Turcotte, Burt Elliott, Jim Elliott and Don Elliott.

She is survived by: her children, Jean, Bill Cook of Newton, Barbara, Brad Erb of Millbank, Karen Laidlaw, Jay Schultz of Milverton, Doug Purcell of Newton and Rob Purcell of Harriston; her grandchildren, Matthew Cook, Daelyn of Michael Cook, T. J., Samantha Poole, Kyra, Kevin Wood, Amber, Jason VanMoorsel, Mitchell Laidlaw, Lucas Laidlaw, Hailey, Cory, Melissa Purcell, Natasha, Mike Cassel, Devin and Tessa Purcell; her great grandchildren, Clayton, Destiny, Henry, Betty, Quentin, Mavis, Trevor, Cheyenne, Caroline, Caitlyn, Jack, Ruby, Grace, Ella, Makayla, Dakota and Briella; her sibling Helen Cullen of Listowel; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Elliott of Hanover, Harry Purcell of Listowel and Paul Bristowe of Listowel. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
