Velda Lillian Aitchison Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Velda Lillian Aitchison of Newmarket, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Clifford Aitchison; her son Ralph (Gail); and her siblings, Roy (Ellen) and Lillian (late Ken). She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl (Steve); her grandchildren, Sara (Jo), Ryan (Tarin), Bradley, Maegan and Kelsie; her great grandchildren, Jeremey, Madyson, Mickayla, Calo, Griffyn, Elena, Jamieson, Brooklynn, Juliet, Kinsley, Wesley, Colton and Liberty; and her siblings, Lois (late Ted) and Bill (late Rose).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation's in Velda's name can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, or to Lily's Place Animal Sanctuary in New Brunswick named after her late sister.
