It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Docherty (Downie) English (Newmarket, Ontario), who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Sarah Docherty departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sarah Docherty may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sarah Docherty leaves behind.
She is survived by: her children, Esther, Linda and Robert; her daughter-in-law Sheila; her grandson Thomas; her niece Susan; her nephews, Billy (Carla) and Michael (Monica); her goddaughter Amanda (Gab); and her great-niece Jaymie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home (524 Davis Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y2P3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
