He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janet; his sons, Brad and Ted (Stephanie Hetherington); his grandchildren, Hailey, Anna, Bodie and Brayden; and his siblings, Susan, Jim and Bill.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Home of Elsie Swedlo.
