It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Carol Cheski (Newmarket, Ontario), who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Beverly, Walter and George; and her parents, Muriel Peterson and Carl Peterson.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Cheski; her children, Gregory Snoddy (Wendy Timmins), Tanya Carvalho (Jose Carvalho) and Ryan Snoddy (Barb Ryner); her grandchildren, Cassandra, Jacob, Kathleen, Diego, Lily and Kristen; and her siblings, Jean Anderson (Jim), Donny Peterson (Kelly) and Bobby Peterson (Joyce).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Playter Chapel (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A reception was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Reception Room (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9).
