It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Mary Konaka (Newmarket, Ontario), who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances and Roger; and her close friend Wendy. She is survived by: her siblings, Diane, Christine, Lynn and Andrew; her husband Hideo; her son Michael; her grandchildren, Nikko and Alexia; her close friends, Doris and Marilyn; and her pet Chester.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9).
If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a donation be made towards adding books to the school library at her grandchildren's school, St Malachy CS.https://www.tcdsb.org. Alternately, Judy would appreciate a donation to the Women's Support Network of York Region, or the Humane Society (Barrie or Newmarket).
