He was predeceased by: his siblings, William, Ross and Marjorie; and his parents, Laughlin Metcalf of Burk's Falls and Edith Metcalf.
He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Stuart (Cheryl), Robert (Gráinne), Cameron (Terri) and Heather (Warren); his grandchildren, Tyler (Stephinie), Christopher (Dante), Kirsty, Conor (Selena), Scott (Meike) and Lisa; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Gabriella and Kara.
