As Delfina departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Delfina may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Delfina leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Mario Canonico; her daughter Carla; her son-in-law John; her grandchildren, Alessia and Adriano; and her grandson-in-law Simon Pelletier.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Playter Chapel (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stronach Regional Cancer Center, the Royal Victoria Hospital or the Kidney Foundation.
