She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Kassies; her children, Ron (Mandy), Irene (Ian) and Robert (Barbara); her grandchildren, Samantha (Luke), Erika, Brandon (Meghan), Jordan (Kathryn) and David; her great grandchild Dean; and her parents, Folkert Wal and Trijnte van der Wal.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Playter Chapel (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honour of Ann may be made to the Alzheimer Society of York Region.
