He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary (McKnight); his parents, George Skelding and Elizabeth Skelding; his children, Betty and Frank Stapleton; his grandchildren, Tricia Hyatt (Orlando), Tara McDonald, Steve and Billi Stapleton; his great grandchildren, Clayton McDonald, Damane Hyatt, Trey Hyatt and Max Stapleton; and his brothers, George Skelding (Joan) and Jack Skelding (Nancy).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Hospital or the Newtonville Community hall.
