He is survived by: his wife Doreen (Black); his daughter Rebecca Sjonger (Tim Miller); his granddaughter Jane Catherine; his siblings, Joujke Moore (Richard), Garry Sjonger, Wilma Sjonger (Tom Berry), Harry Sjonger (Cheryl Gurnsey) and Nancy Sjonger (Bob Turner); and his sibling-in-law Don Black (Eva). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
