He was predeceased by: his mother Hilda Mathias; and his brother Goldwyn (Cherrie). He is survived by: his parent Cyprian Mathias; his wife Deborah; his children, Christopher (Liz) and Renee (Hector Rivera); his grandchildren, Emily, Logan, Colton, Natalia and Aaliyah; and his siblings, Celine (Maxim), Evelyn (late Valerian), Mervyn (Isabelle), Rev. Edwin and Ilene (late Brian).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Barnabas Catholic Church (10 Washburn Way, Scarborough, ON M1B1H3).
