We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 88, Mary Vera McManus (Newcastle, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward McManus; her son Edward McManus; her brother Leslie Paterson; her children, Jacqueline Watchorn (Robert) and Paul McManus (Tracey Brink); her grandchildren, Tyler Watchorn (Larissa), Tara Stone (Brandon), Brian McManus, Andrew McManus (Lauren Redmond) and Jonathan McManus (Alyshia); her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Kolson and Liam; and her niece Deborah Amador.
She is survived by: her brother Jim Paterson (Nellie).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newcastle Community Hall (20 King Ave W, Newcastle, ON L1B1C6).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
