With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martial Joseph Floriand Chalifoux (Newcastle, Ontario), born in Fabre, Québec, who passed away on December 25, 2023 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chalifoux and Ida Chalifoux; and his son Michael Chalifoux (late Lisa). He is survived by: his wife Louise Chalifoux; his daughters, Lena Chalifoux and Carol Robidas (Mario); his grandchildren, Nikolaus Robidas (Kristen), Addison Robidas, Jacob Langevin, Katrina Langevin and Brooke Thibert; his great grandchild Brodie Langevin; and his siblings, Florian (late Rollande) and Lise (Armand). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
