It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Vanhaverbeke (Newcastle, Ontario), who passed away on May 22, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Remi M. Vanhaverbeke; her grandson Kenneth James Vanhaverbeke; and her siblings, Noel Vandepoele of Delhi Region, Anthony Vandepoele of Delhi Region, Martha Vertente of Delhi Region, Marie Huyge of Delhi Region, Andy Vandepoele of Delhi Region, Jean Vandepoele of Delhi Region and Louis Vandepoele of Delhi Region.
She is survived by: her children, James (Elise) of Hastings, Edmond (Sylvia) of Newcastle and Linda Pleasance (John) of Bowmanville; her grandchildren, Donna Vanhaverbeke (Mark Loster), Theresa Vanhaverbeke (Jeff Cryderman), Jeff Vanhaverbeke (Laurel), Chris Vanhaverbeke (Stephanie Butler), Remi Pleasance (Vanessa Ogden) and Renée Carman (Vernor); her great grandchildren, Aidan, Rhiannon, Laura, Quinn, Cole, Sage, Jacob, Evan, Charlie, Jack, Samuel, Maxwell, Julian, Joshua, Benjamin and Cassandra; her great great grandchild Kieran; her brother Albert Vandepoele (Frances); and her sisters-in-law, Laura Vandepoele, Betty Vandepoele and Margaret Vandepoele.
