She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Sowden and Thomas Selleck; her husband George MacDonald; her daughter Treassa MacDonald; and her siblings, Winniferd, Victor and Oscar.

She is survived by: her sisters, Grace and Pearl; her sons, Tom Dotzko (Pauline) and Rob Webdale (Elisabeth); and her friend Anne Zealand. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
