We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2021, at the age of 96, Johanna Vogels (Newcastle, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Marinus Vogels (Mike). She is survived by: her children, Maria MacDonald (Bill), Harry Vogels (Kelly), Irene Martin (Don), Joanne Darling (Darrell), Marty Vogels (Angie), John Vogels (Tia), Tony Vogels and Josey Vogels (Daniel); her grandchildren, Krista, Kathryn, Michelle, Kyle, Mike, Michael, Shawn, Avarie-Rose, Tony, Abigail and Ben; and her siblings, Lena Paxton and Jeff Koks.

For the last two years, she soldiered bravely and gracefully through two knee surgeries, and, of course, this pandemic, ever practical, rarely complaining, always positive.
