It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivan Richard Martin Magee (Newcastle, Ontario), who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ivan Richard Martin leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his wife Penny; his children, John (Monique) and Amy; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kristyn, Abi and Laura.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wilmot Creek Wheelhouse (1 Wheelhouse Drive, Newcastle L1B).
In lieu of flowers, donations on behalf of Marty can be made to the Marigold Hospice in Newcastle or to Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.
