He is survived by: his stepsons, Kirk Gilliland and Brent Gilliland (Sherry Brown); his grandchildren, Elisha Burke and Nate Gilliland; his great grandchildren, Aniyah and Haven; and his brothers, Larry Cummins and Paul Hale.

“He is survived by his biological children Ed and Cindy and his grandchildren Taylor, Riley, Kyle and Ethan. Relations were strained due to years of manipulation from his second wife who did not have the capacity to open her heart to his natural born family. Sadly he died with out being reunited due to further manipulation from his second wife who controlled his life to the very end. Although we know through conversations that this was his wish.”
