With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elma Hopkins of Newcastle, Ontario, who passed away on July 10, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Hopkins; and her sisters, Joan Charlton-Timmins and Daryl Ann Akrey. She is survived by: her children, Dan (Donna), Brad (Tracy) and Jenny (Gary Powell); her brother Joe Allison (Grace); her grandchildren, Phil Hopkins (Christina), Sarah, Dylan Powell and Clare Hopkins; and her great grandchild Isabella Hopkins.

Funeral Service will be held privately due to the restrictions of COVID-19.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.
