Edna Jean Arnold Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Jean Arnold (Newcastle, Ontario), who passed away on August 21, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Edna Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edna Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Syd Arnold; her parents, Lyra Flintoff and Morley Flintoff; and her siblings, Grant Flintoff, Barb Fogal and Marilyn Gordon.

She is survived by: her sons, David (Sarah) and Derek; and her grandchild Ivy.
