She was predeceased by: her spouse Donald Smith; and her siblings, Beatrice Whaley, Don Freeman, Keith Freeman, Howard Freeman and Helen Shoniker.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Smith (Linda) of Newcastle, Bev Smith of Vernon and Mike Smith (Sheila Burgardt) of Calgary; and her grandchildren, Lindsay Smith, Tracy Knapp (Mike) and Jacey Burgardt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
