It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arthur Gerald Thompson of Newboro, Ontario, who passed away on August 23, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Thompson; and his parents, Muriel Thompson (Taylor) and Gerald Thompson. He is survived by: his brother James Thompson (Carol) of Newboro; and his nieces and nephews, Shelly (Tom), Billy, Wendy, James (Kathleen) and Meredith (Jim). He is also survived by his 11 great-nieces and nephews and 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Newboro Community Hall where Arthur spent so much of his time, a Memorial Bench which will be placed in the village in memory of Art, the Westport Lions Club or any Newboro-Westport community organization of your choice would be appreciated.
