He was predeceased by: his father Wilbert Rooney; and his brother Ron. He is survived by: his mother Irene Rooney; his wife Coleen Morton; his siblings, Debra (Chris Milks) of Bayfield, Bryan Rooney of New Liskeard and Mike Rooney; his nephew Shane Milks (Lisa) of Charlton; his niece Crystal Milks-Warren (Dave) of Englehart; and his stepchildren, Chris Morton of Keswick and Heather (Matt Neilson) of Port McNicoll. He is also survived by his in-laws, family and many friends.

In memory of Wayne, donations to the Mount Sinai Cancer Hospital in Toronto would be appreciated.
