He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bruce Elliott, Kent Elliott (Norma), June Denton (Jack), Jean Elliott, Rae Shelp (Earl), Elva Wreggitt (Everett), Doreen Digulla (Herb), Doris Kocot (Alex) and Lee Elliott (Laura); and his in-laws, Bill and Valeda Porter.

He is survived by: his wife Eileen; the fathers of children, Terry (Linda), Brian and Bruce (Linda); his grandchildren, Jeffrey (Veronica), Kevin (Valerie), Lauren, Nolan, Molly and Paige; his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Violet; his brother Murray Elliott (Claudette); his in-laws, Gerald Porter (Dolly) and Doreen; and his close friends, Kemp Elliott, Blair, Frank Kemp, Harry Kemp and Gerald Blair. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Ross can be given to Northdale Manor or Temiskaming Hospital.
