She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Rivest; her granddaughter Tylin Rivest; her parents, Charlie Knott and Mary Knott; and her brother Edward Knott.
She is survived by: her children, Eric (Kerri), Ivan (Nathalie), Adam (Shauna) and Laura (Drew); her siblings, Annie, Ruby, Frances, Joe and Larry; and her grandchildren, Ethan, Graysen, Ellie and Madelyn.
