She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddy Caron and Hilma Caron (Leclair). She is survived by: her husband Eugene; her daughter Caron Ranney (Garth); her granddaughters, Erin Dimmel (Josh) and Kristin Ranney; her great grandchild Olivia Dimmel; and her sisters, Irene Seed (Albert), Laura Macdonell (David), Sara Burke (Michael), Trudy Evans (Kevin) and Roxanne Coulter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, at Doreen's request, donations will be gratefully accepted for Nipissing Serenity Hospice.
