It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aurele Bourassa (New Liskeard, Ontario), born in Haileybury, Ontario, who passed away on December 23, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bourassa and Agnes Vendette; and his sisters, Jacqueline Vendette, Pauline Bourassa and Nicole Bourassa Bujold.
He is survived by: his wife Aline Bourassa; his daughters, Cecile (Patrick Lemieux) and Annie Bourassa (Marco Hamel); his granddaughter Veronique Lemieux; and his siblings, Raymond (Julie Bourassa), Roger (Lana Bourassa) and Yvonne (Larry Peddie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorial contributions to the Canadians Diabetes Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
