He was predeceased by: his son Réjean (Huguette). He is survived by: his wife Alice (Lachapelle); his children, Lise Benoit (Raymond), Ghislain (Lucie) and François (Daniele); and his sisters, Aurore Courchesne, Annette Loranger and Cécile Gauthier (Jerry). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
