He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Weicker and Marie Weicker; his stepfather Frank Beech; his sisters, Betty Minnie (Gerry) and Mary Snider (Bruce); and his brother-in-law Jim Westrop.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam "Mim" Weicker (Miller); his children, Wayne Weicker (Doris) of Baden and Kim Laderoute of New Hamburg; his grandchildren, Tyler, Keifer, Quinn, Derek and Brent; his great grandchildren, River, Kai, Kaede, Jayda, Amara, Sydney, Justin and Gavin; his siblings, Barb Westrop of New Hamburg, Bertie Pfaff (Tom) of New Hamburg and Carol Weicker of New Hamburg; his stepsiblings, Barrie Beech (Gil) and Ken Beech; and his close friend Georgina Davis.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or the Charity of Ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
