We bid farewell to Viola May Dorsch of New Hamburg, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 16, 2024. Viola touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Victor Albert Dorsch; her daughter Joy Elizabeth Dorsch; her parents, Norman Gascho and Ida Gascho (Litwiller); her sister Reta; and her brother-in-law Ray Baechler.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Dorsch (Doretta) of Frederick, Maryland and Shirley Sherk (John) of Toronto, Ontario.; her granddaughters, Michelle Dorsch and Jenn Dorsch-Messler (Brian); and her great grandchild Cayden Messler. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Grand River Cancer Centre (GRCC), the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), or Steinmann Mennonite Church and can be done on the funeral home website.
