He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hale and Lyla Hale (Doyle); and his siblings, Leonard (Anna Hale), Edward (Eileen Hale), Helen (Charlie Dadswell), Rita (Joseph Tangney), Gerald (Mary Hale), Mary (Rene Lord), Louie Hale and James Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Cecile; his children, Rick Hale, Julie Weiser (Randy), Pauline Toman (Eric), Mary Thibault (Peter), Bonnie Hale (Norm Konyer) and Heather Hale (David Benton); his grandchildren, Sarah, Justin, Kyle, Mike, Cody, Matthew, Jason, William, Hannah, Maeve, Sam, Lily and Cedar; his great grandchildren, Liam, Kayden, Bethany, Addison, Avery, Bryson, Keira, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Sophia and Paisley; and his sister-in-law Jean Hale. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home (291 Huron St, New Hamburg, ON N3A1K2). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Parish (329 Huron St, New Hamburg, ON N3A1K3). A burial will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (82 Bergey Ct, New Hamburg, ON N3A2J5).
