She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel B. Wagler and Emma Wagler (Iutzi); her husband Alvin S. Gingerich; her son Sam Gingerich; her brothers, Emerson (Magdalene Wagler), Wilmer (Katie Wagler) and Laverne Wagler; and her siblings-in-law, Elda Wagler, Orland, Agnes Gingerich, Marie, Omer Yantzi, Martha and Gerald Schwartzentruber.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Gingerich, Heidi, Gord McHugh, Katherine and Rob Sonoda; her grandchildren, Shael (Stephanie), Sage, Brandon (Jessie), Ben (Courtney), Aaron (Alyssa), Nolan (Alley), Ethan, Chelsea, Jonathan (Lyndsey), Justin (Jessica), Emily (Spencer), Lucas and Elijah; her brothers, Sam Wagler and Irvin (Carol Wagler); and her sister-in-law Bernice Wagler. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
