She was predeceased by: her spouse Stewart Bechthold; her parents, William Knipfel and Frieda Knipfel (Wahl); and her siblings, Ervin Knipfel, Gordon Knipfel, William Knipfel, Melvin Knipfel and Rosetta Knipfel.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne of New Hamburg, Joyce (Steven Haus) of Kitchener, Warren (Bernice) of Petersburg and Steven (Elaine) of Petersburg; her grandchildren, Sheri Lupu (Romi), Melanie Loube (Nathan), Jennifer Tanev (George), Andrew Haus (Jennifer), Stacey Salmon (Syd), Leslie Noble (Rich), Stewart Bechthold (Tabi) and Brooke Bechthold; and her sister-in-law June Knipfel of New Hamburg.
