It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert John Ballantyne (New Hamburg, Ontario), born in Stratford, Ontario, who passed away on September 9, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ballantyne and Mary Good; his wife Phyllis Ballantyne (Sorensen); and his sisters, Elizabeth Rae (Norman) and Janette Grasby (Art).
He is survived by: his children, Betty Ann Dadd (Wayne Moore) of Windsor, Carolyn McGill (Phil) of Waterloo, Bill Ballantyne (Jo-Anne) of Kincardine and Bruce Ballantyne (Barbara) of Stratford; and his grandchildren, Lorraine Dadd, Lisa Dadd, Julie (Steven Pimiskern), Andrew (Taylor Moore), Brad McGill (Alissa), Rob McGill (Alison Midgley), Scott Ballantyne (Amy), Karen (Mark Smith), Dan Ballantyne (Corrie) and Stephen Ballantyne (Negin Sairafi).
