She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Wallace McLaughlin; her daughter Dawn; and her siblings, William, Lee, Alex, Mary, Vivian and Virginia.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Trocewicz (Peter) of Lurgan Beach, Mari McLaughlin (SL) of Ottawa, Michael McLaughlin (Jane) of Georgetown and Heather Ropp (Dennis) of Tavistock; her grandchildren, Ursula (Brad), Colleen (Rob), Doug (Betsy), Matt (Christine), Montana, Nathan (Sarah), Rachel, Daniel, Joshua, Fiona, Brendan and Kerri; her great grandchildren, Kevin, Zoe, Tate, Clara, Paisley, Lillian, Abigail and Amelia; and her sister-in-law Loretta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
