She was predeceased by: her parents, Chauncey Gilliland and Rena Streigle; her former husband George Gliva; her husband Ray Carbert; and her stepson Ray Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Gayle (Paul McConvey) of Virginia Beach, Renae (Barry Bertrand) of New Hamburg, Denise (Neil Mehlenbacher) of Cayuga and Bruce (April Gliva) of Rostock; her daughter-in-law Frieda Carbert; and her siblings, Donna (Dick) and Laverne. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
