Marlene Shantz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Shantz (New Hamburg, Ontario), who passed away on November 12, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Bast and Barbara Bast (Lichti); her siblings, Elaine Bast and Ralph Bast; and her nephew Kelly "Whitey" Bast.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Becky Malcolm (Gary); her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Daniel and Melanie Shantz; her siblings-in-law, Ralph Shantz (Dorothy), Harold Shantz (Judy), Marilyn Martin (Lawrence), Doreen Snyder (Don) and Carla Fries (Ross); and also, Leelind and Jonah Keary.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Foundation (PSP) or Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated. (Cheques Accepted).
