He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Yantzi and Emma Yantzi (Yutzi); and his siblings, Barbara Ann, Hubert Yantzi (Dorothy), Oscar Borntrager, Stanley Wagler (Ruby), Elmon Lichti and Lloyd Wagler (Daniel Wagler).
He is survived by: his wife Alma Yantzi (Wagler); his children, Gloria Lebold (Clare), Marilyn Steinmann (Don), Lynn Yantzi (Nancy Steinmann Yantzi), Marvin Yantzi (Janet) and Maynard Yantzi (Connie); his grandchildren, Ryan (Annastasia), Chad (Julie), Michael (Megan), Krista (Eric), Brent (Karen), Stephen (Janessa), Andrew (Allison), Dylan (Hannah), Jared, Marcus (Tosha), Katie (Trevor) and Jesse; and his nieces and nephews, Lydia Schumm (Glen), Erma Bender (Merlin), Ruby Wagler and Emmalien Lichti. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
